I have to say, I never tire of Pike Place Market. Sure the crowds can be large and it certainly is a tourist attraction, but it is a Seattle icon for a reason. I enjoy going every few weeks for fresh flowers and good eats. This week was especially fun because of the return of peony season! Peonies for $3 a stem and a bouquet like this for $10. Wow. I love all varieties of peony, but on this visit I opted for coral charm peonies and one bright red Oriental poppy. We made our visit an afternoon excursion and grabbed some yummy food, bought Henry a hat and rode the Seattle Great Wheel.
