February is always the most difficult month of the year for me. The joy of being at home begins to lose its luster and I long to be outdoors (I often feel discouraged with a baby and the cold weather). This month, more than ever, I have felt the need to utilize daily practices as a way to battle the winter blues. Writing, devotional time, indoor play-dates, coconut oil facials, homemade soup, a glass of red wine in the evening and constant snuggles with my baby boy have become my go-to antidotes for the winter blues.
