It has been two weeks since Peter left for Guam and surprisingly, I am hanging in there. I'm not counting the days until his return just yet, so that is huge! My network of friends (and fellow mothers), regular activities and my involvement in church have all been instrumental in my life during this difficult transition. I am so grateful for thoughtful friends who are here for me (and Henry), and I know I would be lost without them.
In addition to adjusting to Peter's deployment, I am also packing up our apartment in preparation for the big move. We will be flying to the East Coast on May 14th. That is less than a month away!
I think I am still in denial about our move, but I am trying my best to enjoy each day while we are here. I have a few more local adventures up my sleeve, so keep tuning in.
