local adventures // pioneer square

Today felt like the perfect day to mosey over to Seattle for some coffee and browsing. I have been dying to visit The London Plane on Occidental Ave. and I am so happy we stopped in. I could live there! Everything was beautifully designed and curated, including the food. After exploring for 15 minutes, Henry and I headed down the street to Union Station.   I am not planning a trip, but I love historic spaces, especially stations. The architectural details and tile in that space are very well preserved. If you are ever looking for a quiet place to eat a boxed lunch while in the Pioneer Square / Stadium / International District areas, this is it.

Henry was happy as a clam in his Ergo carrier the entire time, but I decided not to push it and we took the next ferry back to Bainbridge Island.

I was so grateful for this day.
