Oía

Oia (ee-ah) is a whitewashed Cyclades village perched on the northwestern tip of Santorini. It is a maze of narrow pedestrian streets and steep stairs leading to blue domed churches, stucco homes and boutique hotels. The compact size of Oia coupled with its spectacular views, make it a dreamy place for wandering. My favorite time to explore was at dawn when the streets were empty and bathed in soft, ethereal light.
